the measurements in the book is really small...had to make it double the size...the square patches is 3 cm...small, but not too small yet...wonder if it may be too small for a big bag...
also if i need to do more applique on the larger patch?

mother gonna commission it if she like it...gonna make it huge like the one mie saw in mng's sales yesterday...only rm 59, ori price 99...2 years ago...mie would had been mad about the sales...but 2 years later with a new obssession in-tow, hmmmm o.....only seeing the clothes on sales....
but did got one long t-shirt in grey with lots crocheted characters...nice, little one liked it!

hand-quilted, hand-sewn from start to end.... the colourful striped on the sides are made up of multi coloured polkas - just colourful enough for a little one... hand stitched to each other then quilted again...
this is a project given by mil for little Cassandra...
wanted a backpack/drawstring bag sort of thingy to be done up... but ended up looking gorgeous like this with Robert Kaufmann's Owls...

...as the full moon had not 'risen'... and one of the magnets legs was fractured in the process of attaching it to the flap...
arrrggghhhh...
now just waiting for time so the shops are open and i'll have this project on field trial...
girl already loves it as she loves the OWL...
if you follow ntv7, you'll know everyday at 10am,8.30pm and midnight... there'll be this snippets of comic involving an OWL... very dark humour...very good!

was looking for craft book on amazon.com but never crossed mie mind there's a japan version... lol...soooo many japanese craft books...cotton time is like rm30+ nia, its like rm 50+ in local bookstores(of course not in penang's)...but the shipping fees' expansive...still came back to rm 50+... but the fees lesser with more item....so instead of one book that really wanted...now i have 5 on its way from japan...
